Starting to like my hair more and more, can't wait till it's a little longer so i can cut it in one length. Now that i live in Rotterdam's primark is awfully close, i say awful because the prices there make it so bloody tempting to buy everything you like. Somehow i managed to leave the shop with only one dress, one skirt and two pairs of plimsolls for the boyfriend, but i'm telling you i had to drag myself outta there haha. This is the dress i got, i guess i just never have enough lace dresses..

LIFE | monki opening party

It's like Rotterdam could smell that i would come and live here and thought, 'how can we make this more fun for Suze, oh yes! let's open a Monki here!'. The Monki opening party was so great! They had a bubble blower, and an icecream stand, and lot's of delicious drinks, and jelly shots, and cute and yummy cookies, and great music, oh and cute boys.. what didn't they have?? Cleo visited me and we went there together, drank a little and danced a little, played some bingo (but didn't win, which is strange because Cleo always wins things) and drooled over all the lovely clothes. It is that i'm already over my shopping budget this month or i would've bought everything they have in store, it feels like this shop is designed for me hahah. The pictures are blurry because my SLR lens broke and i had to take my compact camera.. crrrrap.

TRAVELLING | paris day three

On our third day in Paris we took the subway to Tuileries and walked trough the park for a bit, heading for Musee D'orsay. Walking over Pont des Arts made me wonder how many of these couples still exist today. Once we got to the museum the row was terribly long but we decided to stay and we spent the 2hour waiting playing pokemon on my blackberry. The museum itself was so pretty that it didn't even need all the wonderful art. I spotted some of my favorite impressionist, and discovered other great artists. After a few hours of magnificent (but also tiring) art-watching we decided to go shopping in the 6th arrondissement. I drooled at the windows of Isabel Marant and discovered the cutest of shops (i'm planning to feature a paris shopping guide on my new blog) aaaaand got some macarons at LaDuree (because the store on Champs Elysee was waaaay to busy). We walked back trough our hotel over Pont Neuf and spotted the 'paris plage'. That night we ate Sushi, and went to the Eiffeltower where we lay in the grass and drank desperados.

Thiiiis is what i looked like today, i guess i sort of reinvented the classic creme/black/red color-scheme. Yesterday evening i went to the Monki opening with Cleo (who came to visit me) and it was al sorts of lovely but more about that later. I got these amazing cookies (for freeeee), aren't they adorable? This morning i woke up early to make an entire assesment, and i managed to finish it in time and i'm actually quite happy with the results! I'm gonna go back home to my parents in a bit, and i can't wait because i'll have proper food and boyfriend quality time yah! Have a lovely weekend everyone. x

Yesterday i went to the citycenter to get some hangers for my wardrobe but ofcourse i ended up shopping.. which i really shouldn't now that i'm a student and all.. But i just couldn't help it H&M had so many nice things in store.. i'll show my new buys asap but i have this big assesment i've got to finish first. I've been wearing these jeans for four days in a row now, love them SO much. They have the best colour in the world and they remind me of old times when i used to collect coloured skinnyjeans (if you're in for a laugh click here). Anyways, i'm really sad because i went to the hairdresser this weekend and the world seemed to hate me that day because the lady cut 10cm of my hair off! While i just told her to cut the dead ends of.. like.. fuck! The haircut i have now i so damned ugly that i'll have to wear my hair up into a bun for the coming month.. gaaaaaah. I'm usually quite ignorant about my hair and make-up but this haircut really is the worst i've ever had. And that while i liked my hair from the last post so much! I'm really into lipsticks lately, i have no clue what stopped me from using them before. I found this gorgeous bright orangy colour at Sephora when i was in Paris, and wear it all the time now. My first week of school has been great so far, it takes some getting used to the lack of 'theoretic' information but i'm enjoying every bit of it. Also, the lay out for the new blog is almost finished and i'm verrrry happy with the result so i can't wait to move over there and show you guys. For now my today's outfit (in photobooth pics srrrrry), the close up's were taking at school (mac galore!). Oh and the last picture is one of my how i did my nails last week, love this and it's so easy!

LIFE | lowlands day one

I share with you my pictures from Lowlands day one. This year was a little bit more focused on relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere instead of rushing from concert to concert (which i did last year). I spend most of my time on the grass in front of a tent, still listening but not being crushed at the same time haha. My favorites from this day were Miles Kane and Fleet Foxes. I was pleasantly surprised by Alex's (turner) new hairdo and also by his sudden ability to move, last time i saw him he stood there like a walking broomstick. I was wearing my new topshop dress by the way!

I just wanted to let you guys know what's going on in my life right now which causes me to blog so little. Okay this sounds like i've got some bad news or something but i don't, i've just been reaaaaally busy. As you guys might know i found an appartment in Rotterdam, where i moved in today. I live together with a friend i've had forever, he already lived here but his roommate moved out so the room was available for me. Cause i worked all summer and went to Paris&Lowlands in my two 'free' weeks i've put all my leftover time into 'renovating' the appartment and ofcourse moving in. My room (and also the living room) aren't even near to finished but i have a bed and my mac which is all i really need. I just realised i do not have a mirror, and my entire closet is still 'boxed' since i don't have a closet yet. By the way,this week is my introduction week at the Willem de Kooning Academy and i'm really excited for the schoolyear to start! What i also wanted to tell you is that i've had the idea of starting a new blog with a different name+lay-out. The content will be pretty much the same but with a few additions. When i've got the new blog ready i'll make sure this site links trough to that one so you guys wont have trouble finding me! Hope to be back on here soon. xx

On my second day in Paris we went to La Defense, the contrast between the buildings there and the rest of the city is incredible and quite refreshing. I'm not sure if i thought it was pretty but it certainly was impressive. There was a huge shopping mall right next to the grand-arche and i got some Sephora make-up there. Then we took the subway to tuleries, and walked around for a bit. Because the weather wasn't really good we decided to pay a visit to the Louvre. After the Louvre my feet were basicly ready to be buried so we continued on bikes. I couldn't go to Paris without paying a visit to the chanel headquarters, i wish i could see all the action happening in there in real life. Then we walked over the Champs Elysees and ended up at the Arc de Triomphe. So much for day two!

TRAVELLING | paris day one

We spend our first day in Paris in the area where our hostel was, Montmartre. First we climbed the hill of the Sacre Coeur and ate our lunch on it's hillside. I was not allowed inside the church because i was wearing shorts, so i waited outside while watching the beautiful view. Then we walked trough Montmartre for a bit, heading to Saint Ouen (just outside the center of Paris) to go to Les Puces, which is said to be the biggest flea market in Europe. I did not have any luck here though, after walking trough 'jersey shore' clothing area's for two hours we had enough of it and went back to Montmartre. I have heard many people saying that Les Puces has lots of great vintage stalls but i only found about 3, maybe next time? I did find a pair of two-toned Chanel heels between all the ugly ones (for 25 euro's, but condition though), but unfortunatly not in my size. Again we enjoyed the beautiful buildings of Montmartre and then went to see the Moulin Rouge, which wasn't very interesting at all. Our feet got really tired and so we went back to the hotel. I decided to check out what shops our neighboorhood had to offer (post on shopping in Paris comming soon) and after that we ate yummy pasta at an Italian restaurant. So much for day 1!

I'm going to Paris this sunday and i kind of forbid myself to buy anything untill then but i was in Amsterdam today to pick up a pair of shorts (only 1 item could do i figured) but ofcourse i couldn't resist the final sale at zara and ended up with little more then the shorts.. whoops. Anyways, i started the day wearing tights, a black skirt and a coat and this is what i looked like at the end of the day haha... oh sorry for the crap quality but i hate to take my bigass camera with my while shopping.

I hate topshop, asos, H&M, zara and all those other online shops for making me want to buy everything they have in stock. It's so hard to decide what to get! I placed an order at Topshop today (row above+shorts), many things i wanted were sold out already which sucks in one way but is also good for my wallet. The black flats came with the mail this week (Jeffrey Campbell via Zalando), they're awesome but unfortunatly to big so i'm gonna return them and get a size smaller. The necklace is a gift from Jalousie, i loveeee the colour of the beads.

I've wanted black patent ankle boots ever since i saw them on Alexa a few years ago, i don't understand why high street brands don't do patent ankle boots! I finally found a secondhand pair on the dutch version of ebay and they arrived this week. They came in pretty bad condition but they were really cheap as well so.. i just hope it will take long before they fall apart. I've pretty much lived in this cardigan ever since i got it, but i haven't shown many outfits with it which is kind of.. strange haha. Anyway gotta study for my drivers license now! byeaaa

My apologies for the lack of posts, i work full time at a grocery shop (nothing fancy haha) this summer cause i need money for my trip to paris in august and to decorate my new home. I guess my parents felt sort of sorry for me cause when i came home a few days ago they had some presents waiting for me. Chanel mascara, magazines, some kitchen essentials (for my new home) and this ring. My mum told me she just had to get it for me, it's a vintage piece and made of real gold (cringe, i always lose expensive things). I really love it, purple isn't what i'd call my favorite colour but it really works on this ring!

When we were in Venice my parents told me they wanted to go to the 'cimitiero' (literally translated:cemetary). It's an Island completely used as a cemetary, and it has got big walls around it. When we arrived i couldn't believe my eyes, i've never seen cemetary's of this kind. Usually cemetary's are a little depressing (still impressing though) and dark, but this one was completely different. Every grave had a picture of the buried person on it (i've never seen that before), and featured colorful flowers. Most of the graves had a little lightbulb that shines forever, so can you believe how beautiful this must be at night? This place really touched me because all i could feel was joy, i can imagine why people would like to be buried here. What's also really special is that there is no other sound then that from the wind trough the trees, the big walls completely isolate the place. If you ever go to Venice i would higly recommend to go see this place.

A few months ago i promised myself that if i were to graduate (i never expected i would) i would buy myself a chanel bag. A new one is little bit above my budget and i wasn't to lucky on the internet either. When we were walking trough the small streets of Venice my mom suddenly screamed 'LOOK! a vintage shop!' (i had been searching for a vintage shop as i hoped to find a chanel bag). We went inside and guess what was the first thing in front om me? This lovely vintage chanel purse. It's got everything i wanted: black, a quilt, gold chains and a not-to-big-not-to-small size. I still can't believe i own a chanel purse now.. i used it the past two days and already throw it around like it's any other 2-bucks bag.. but where's the fun if you don't really use it anyway?

Yesterday i got my diploma (first pic) and after that we went out for dinner at this new mexican place. They have this delicious frozen margaritha that i certainly enjoyed (last pic), gotta love tequila. Here are some pictures of what i was wearing, i found this dress at Episode. As i write this my boyfriend is sleeping in my bed, for some reason i couldn't seem to find rest so here i am writing this post in an all dark room. This is how i often find Joost, completely absorbed in whatever book he is reading (seriously he's the smartest person i've ever met, he reads about 3 books a week just for fun and knowledge and he's teaching himself russian). I couldn't leave the moment uncaptured.. this is typicaly Joost for me. Also i just wanted to show you his awesome burgundy pants.. i'm so jealous! I can't find jeans in this colour anywhere, gaaaah! The second picture shows a bunch of roses Joost's mother gifted me for my graduation, they're beautiful. Also i have to tell you, my parents just booked us (mum,dad,me,Joost) a citytrip to Venice and we're leaving on Friday already! Excited!

The worst thing ever happened today. As a graduation present my mom gave me some ray-ban sunglasses, these ones to be exact. I never buy expensive glasses cause the last time i did ( vintage rayban wayfahrer in tortoise) i lost them within 2 days.. no idea where the went, they were just gone. Ofcourse i was really sad and all, but i figured it would be a once and never again experience. Well.. i figured wrong. The universe seems to hate me when it comes to expensive 'designer' things. I brought my new glasses (shown in the outfit below) to our little swimming-trip today, i was so proud of them that i wanted to wear them as soon as i could (got them a week ago). Well i think you know where this is going.. my glasses fell into the water and before i could respond we were 10m away from where it happened and i couldn't find them back (thick brown water and 1m of mud on the ground). This was one of the moments that i really hated myself for being clumsy as fuck. My parents promised me to get me a new one but i'm gonna go back tomorrow with some proper equipment and i'm determined to mind them back! Not gonna give up this easily. Anyways.. uh.. this is what i was wearing today when i still had the glasses.

Woops! Sorry for the absence, i figured i would post more after graduation but now i actually post less haha. I have so many fun things to do that i almost never even touch my mac. I don't know what on earth has happened to me, i never used to like brights but i think this colour-blocking trend is brainwashing me. Oh! I do not like colour-blocking on me, but I did suddenly get very into bright coloured mini-dresses. All the ones below are from asos, wish i had all of these to wear with simple black boots!

Now that we're talking about bright coloured dresses, i got a fluo pink number at Zara a while ago and i actually wore it out several days ago to a theme party called 'Roze, Goud, Superfout' (translate: pink, gold, very not-done). Which also explaines my gold nailpolish aha. I was brainstorming on what to wear and then i realised i had this dress in my closet, perfect! Totally me but also totally theme-appropriate. It got kind of destroyed though.. hope all the beer will wash out haha. And here for you to have something to laugh out, embarrassing pictures of me at that party haha.

And this is a pic i took before i left, before my boots and dress got completely trashed haha. These boots are my favorites ever by the way! Super comfortable, very dance-proof and they always get clean haha. Well that was my long story for now. Tell me your thoughts on my new coloured-side haha!

I kind of forgot to tell that i was going to be away for five days. Me and 52 other classmates went to Belgium to celebrate the end of high school (and hopefully our graduation). It was a week full of fun and weird moments, but i'm glad to be home! I slept about 16 hours yesterday.. and still feel like i could use a few hours. When i took these pictures of Rosanne i was literally jumping upside down of hapiness cause they came out exactly like i wanted them to. I tried to capture a carefree, dreamy girl. Now that Joost lives in Amsterdam it's easy for me to just go there. I've loved amsterdam ever since i was a small kid and i love that i now can go there without any particular reason and just 'be'. It's kind of annoying that i have to spend so much on train/bus-tickets, but then again i feel so happy when i'm there that i don't really care. Also, I started with driving lessons last Saturday, and thought it went pretty well! Actually can't wait till my next lesson. Today sucks. I feel like crap and i wanted to go to Joost but i can't cause i'm afraid i'll collapse. I am so happy today! Today i had my math exam and that was the one test i knew i would fuck up, BUT to my and the entire world's suprise it went so well! I've only 2 exam's left, and luckily they're the easy ones (french and english) sooo i'm kinda chilling it right now. When i came home after my exam my topshop package was waiting for me. I ordered these red/pinkish shorts, a top with a leopard on it (you can't really see but i'll show a better pic soon), also i got some gold shoes and a reaaaally cute necklace but they will all be shown soon! Een poosje terug werd ik door Le Ballon benaderd met de vraag of dat ik een promo over hun wou doen. Ik promote alleen merken en webshops waar ik zelf volledig achtersta, en Le Ballon is er zo eentje! Ik en mijn moeder bezoeken hun winkels regelmatig vanwege het grote aanbod kwaliteitsmerken. Sinds kort heeft Le Ballon ook een webshop (klik) waar je voor zowel schoenen als kleding terecht kunt. Hieronder zie je een aantal van mijn favoriete schoenen die ze momenteel verkopen, geheel in de stijl van Alexa Chung (want geef toe, we hebben allemaal een zwak voor haar).

Zelf heb ik gekozen voor deze bruine sandaaltjes van hun huismerk. Ik wou al lang mooie basic sandaaltjes voor de zomer en toen ik deze zag was ik verkocht. Ze zijn lekker simpel maar door de vintage touch passen ze helemaal bij mijn stijl. Het leer is heel soepel en ze zitten goddelijk, ik ben blij!

I just watched 'Et dieu..crea la femme', a movie from the 50's starring Brigitte Bardot. The scenery in the movie was beautiful and it makes me want to live in a small village near to the sea. Brigitte is even more beautiful though, she has such a tiny waist! Furthermore it's actually a really witty movie, i loved it. A while ago i decided i should start drawing/painting, because it's something i never do and i like to try new things. I suck at drawing things straight from my head so i figured i should start with drawing from a picture in front of me. This is one of my first attempts, first i drew it with a pencil, then i filled it with waterpaint and then drew the lines with east indian ink. I'm quite anxious to show the result but i'm going to anyway, cause i'm eager to hear your opinions! So please, tell me what you think! (P.S. i went outside the lines on purpose).

One week to finals! And strangely enough i'm not stressed at all.. which is weird cause i really should be haha. But whatever, i've gone to a lot of examtrainings which helped a lot so i'm pretty satisfied with what i've done already. Today i have a day off from learning and i asked Joost to take a few pictures of me. This shirt arrived yesterday (i was so happy when i found it on ebay, i really regretted not having bought it) and i just needed to take some pics with it. We went to a field nearby his house, wasn't the best idea cause i suffer from hayfever. I'm itching everywhere right now and my eyes hurt like hell but i do it all for you guys hahah! Since i'm planning on moving out as soon as possible i've started with a serious closet-clean-out. Everything i don't want to bring needs to go! Everything you see in the picture below (my entire bed covered with stuff) will go for sale on my online shop for small prices, and i have another movingbox filled with 'bargains' that i will sell on another site because i don't think they're 'shop my closet' worthy haha. Everything that doesn't sell by the end of the summer will probably go to charity.

I bought this dress a few years back in Marocco.. i remember that i tried it on just because i thought it looked 'funny' but when i tried it on i actually find it awesome. I really like florals but i'm really picky when it comes to floral items, the print has to be exactly right and that's why i don't find many items i like. Anyways! I took it out for a swing somewhere lost week when me and my boyfriend went out for dinner to celebrate our 2 year anniversairy, no fancy-wear for me. I decided to invest in some basics, all from Zara. I wanted a 'sexy' simple black dress for going out, most of my clothes are 'childisch' or 'granny' so wearing this in my style is kind of a challenge. Black shorts for summer, they fit me perfectly which is awesome. Striped tee.. all the other ones were worn out so i had no choice really. Today me and my history class went on an excursion to Amsterdam, we visited quite a few nice places and the wheather was lovely so overall it was a great day! I gave my camera to a friend of mine and at that very moment i happened to stand in front of this sex shop thing.. yam yam! Below you can see what i was wearing today. The camel cardigan is an item i've craved for a long time so i'm really happy that i finally found one. I got it together with the scarf i'm wearing in the first picture. I had a scarf that looked just like that but i got stolen on my very own birthday (which means by one of my friends) and it took me 4 months to find something similar to it. Also, i don't know if you can see but i've decided to add eyeliner to my daily make-up, i suck at aplying eyeliner but i found some kind of eyeliner-pen and it's so easy to use, yihaa!

I've been looking for kaki green nailpolish since the chanel kaki vert collection, so when i found the exact colour i was craving for at H&M friday last i made a little scream of happiness. It's funny cause untill about a year ago i always said i hated polkadots, and i really really really hated them. I always said i would never ever buy anything with polkadots but when you take a look in my closet now, i have about 15 polka-dotted things! I love them! So my webcam wouldn't take decent pics of today's outfit but as you can see i'm wearing jeans today, i think i've only posted a pic of me wearing jeans once the past year. So today i decided this month will be daily-outfit month, i'll post an outfit everyday for the entire month of march. I figured it's not that much of an effort to make some photobooth snaps haha. Do you remember when i told you i got a leopard coat on ebay? Well.. the coat never arrived and i got a total refund but i found the same coat on a dutch site and it just arrived, i'm so happy, i've wanted a coat like this for ages. It came with a gorgeous John Zack dress that will be great for summer. I also bought a promdress on ebay yesterday, i'm not 100% sure if i this is the one but it was really cheap so if i decide not to it won't be a waste of money anyway. This month i have to cut back on the purchases, i'm so bad at saving... sigh.

I'm back from my snowboarding holiday and it was so much fun, i can't believe that it's already over. I bought myself two pink things there: some lychee-flavoured liquor, i have no idea of how it will taste (probably disgusting) but the idea was so weird that i just had to buy it. And also (be jealous!) make-your-own-macaron-mix! How cool is that? I looove macarons and the idea that i can now make them myself.. sigh.

I think it kind of sux that i do so little outfit-posts so i decided that i will go with photobooth pics from now on. Joost is moving to Amsterdam in a few weeks which means i'll have nobody to take my picture anywayzzz. Hope you don't mind ;). Today i had no inspiration so i kind of stole this outfit idea from the lovely Becka (really, check her blog out it's 100% awesomeness). The dress is new, and it has (what a surprise) a collar. Yeej!

Friday last i went to see Dewolff in Eindhoven. Thijs, a friend of mine, lives and studies there so i payed him a visit and we went to the concert together. The concert was like superfuckingamazing.. like really, i'm still shocked that 17,18 and 19 year old boys can produce this kind of music. Their music is sort of The Doors-y but i also heard a lot of Raconteurs influences. Anyways, it was great, they're 10 times better live then on cd. Below some crappy pics of the show and 2 songs for you to listen to.
